In my experience, Slack has been a great tool in terms of collaborating with the team. Another one is ro.am, it's like a virtual office that would allow you to see everyone in cubicles.

I've found that Microsoft TEAMS and Zoom have improved discussions and collaboration in my office. We use both for team meetings and to discuss tactics for bigger projects.

I think this tool is much better for resolution because that team already has an office tool for project management but after discussing points with other team members goals can be achieved easier.

Majority of the time when a team is not moving/performing/associating as expected, chances are there is a connection problem lying underneath.
