To help educate your teams understand the benefits of these initiatives conduct a pilot program to demonstrate the physical benefits of LED upgrades or HVAC controls. BAS are often looked at as "taking away" the site managers control of their temperature and often times the most vocal push back. We have found and shared with our teams that we actually have less hot/cold calls once the system is regulated by the BAS than onsite. Our locations are responsible for paying their own utilities, and showing the positive impact to the bottom line after the pilot was a game changer in adoption. We had locations asking when they were getting their new lights or controls very soon after the pilot was completed.
