Encourage a culture of empathy and respect, where people can utter their opinions candidly without being criticized for it. Be prepared for personality profiles to come through in negotiations. Naturally louder individuals will dominate the conversation, so as a leader, ensure speaking time is balanced by directly inviting input from shy or introverted participants. Just because they don't contribute naturally, doesn't mean they have nothing smart to say. Other than that, let it flow and only intervene to keep it on topic.
