One thing I have found helpful are visual aids and simplified work instructions. The less room you leave for confusion, the better your team will understand. I try to imagine if I was absolutely brand new to this industry, what questions would I have regarding this process. Adding the visual aids, such as screenshots or pictures, also minimizes the chance for confusion as well.

If I'm giving a critique of a designer's work, I explain exactly why I'm encouraging a different direction (in writing, so they can refer to it later, if needed). Sometimes, I make a copy of their work and show other approaches along with a positive/constructive "why." This helps make the examples more real/personal. This works especially well for visually-oriented people. Showing several examples of your concept is also very helpful, as is asking them about their perspective to identify areas for clarification. Bringing them along in the discernment process builds buy-in and deeper understanding.

Clear, accessible analogies and visuals, like as diagrams and flowcharts, may help your team understand complex design principles. Break down difficult concepts into small stages or components. Use real-world examples to demonstrate ideas and applicability. Encourage interactive activities, such as workshops or Q&A, to improve comprehension. Use multimedia materials, such as movies and interactive tools, to increase engagement. Keep explanations simple and avoid jargon. By creating an inclusive learning environment, you can successfully help your team understand complicated design principles.

Taking things one step at a time is always the best approach. What is the most critical aspect? How many steps will it take to achieve? Detail what each step will require (people, tools, timelines) and go from there.
