Your team is falling behind on E-Learning material deadlines. How can you get everyone back on track?

Since the work load has already been distributed and team members are working to deadlines, here's my advice. 1. Have another meeting with the whole team to identify the issues they are facing. 2. Would it be possible to swap workloads without creating friction? A strong team may go with this to enable them complete a project successfully. This improves the team's innovative and supportive attitudes. Some employees have the capability to do more in less time. 3. Working to deadlines is important and swapping workloads plays a vital part in the team's self development. As they say "no man is an island" and there is no "I" in teams.

The main point for me is to have a clear plan of activities to be done and as detail as possible with a clear view on who is involved for all the stapes. You need to be able to know the nodes and key points of project execution. If, for example, an expert must be filmed, this means that the script and materials (PPT type) are ready and validated before recording.

1. Regularly check in with team members to see how they are doing. 2. Assess each team member's workload, skills, and strengths. 3. Check how motivated the team is. 4. Let everyone know what the goals are. 5. Confirm access to resources.

It would be good to identify the points of difficulty and ponder how important they are for the completion of the project, then have the team focus on the more important from the most important ones to the less important, Have the team work on one task at a time and praise them for every advance they make.

As I think self-regulation is important in everyone's life, what I would suggest is to help the team members develop their self-regulation patterns, once they have begun to achieve some advance let them make their own decisions to get them to be independent; in this way they will become responsible and able to handle their schedules to conceal their responsibilities with the off-work time.

One thing we do as regards support is to provide training, we don't hold back on training. There are also regular check-ins to discuss any roadblocks, or challenges they are going through.

From my perspective, the team should have adequate support in every task they face, to have it ready for them, the training team must be supportive and trained to face the possible situations that would come up. If the training team is prepared they will help the participants effectively in every task they face.

One way my team and I optimize our delivery is through technology. We use Zoho's Kanban board to manage the progress of our course development efficiently. Additionally, we leverage AI to enhance certain aspects of our course content, ensuring high-quality and engaging learning experiences. This combination of project management and advanced technology has significantly improved our workflow and output.

1. Recognize and reward small wins to keep morale high. 2. Encourage a collaborative environment where team members support each other. 3. Organize team events or social gatherings to celebrate completed milestones or project successes. Use these opportunities to build camaraderie and strengthen team bonds.

It's also worth focusing on team motivation at the very beginning of the process. It's important everyone knows why they are participating in e-learning. The attitude of managers and senior leadership can have a big impact on how employees respond to new training. It should be made clear that it's not just an exercise but a meaningful process to gain valuable information the company is ready to embrace.

Acknowledge online learning takes time - where is that time coming from? Inset day given over to online learning? Staff meetings? Off-timetable? etc. I've finds staff far more willing and able to complete online learning if I have created time for them to do it!
