One thing I've found helpful is to focus on proactive communication. Regularly sharing progress reports, offering timelines for deployment, and providing demo sessions or support materials helps build trust and ensures that clients feel confident and prepared for the changes.
-
1. Communicate: clear timelines, funding impact, changes, risks, mitigation & modified plan 2. Re-assure: client that abrupt feature change is not frequent & that client needs will be met with utmost priority 3. Validate: the client requirements periodically & re-assure that there will be no impact on end product 4. Empathize: with client pain-points, if any due to product feature change & that everything is tapped keeping client's best interest in mind. 5. Monitor: the progress of the feature development to avoid any further risk of change & impact 6. Inform: all the accountable stakeholders regularly, wrt the product/feature in development & planned for release 7. Analyse: at end what cause the feature change & how to avoid this in future

??? Transparent Communication: I prioritize clear, upfront discussions. Engaging clients early, explaining the "why" behind changes, and aligning them with long-term goals is key. ?? Data-Driven Insights: I present data to highlight the impact, showing how changes drive value, timelines, and outcomes. ?? Empathy and Listening: Understanding and addressing client concerns helps build trust and confidence. ?? Regular Updates: Frequent progress updates keep clients informed, reducing surprises and ensuring alignment.
-
1. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with clients about the feature change through updates and briefings. Use tools like Slack for instant messaging and Zoom for meetings. 2. Gather Feedback: Use surveys to collect client feedback on the proposed changes and understand their concerns. 3. Set Clear Objectives: Use the SMART framework (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) to define what the feature change aims to accomplish. 4. Create a Roadmap: Develop a visual product roadmap using tools like Trello or Aha! to show timelines and expected outcomes, ensuring clients are aware of the process. 5. Regular Check-Ins: Schedule regular check-ins to discuss progress and adjust based on client feedback.
