Corporate goals or facility goals can push/drive/drag people to start acting appropriately. But if you don't have clear objectives to the new tasks and if your people don't understand the objectives, then their ignorance can cause your plans to fail. Help your people to understand your ultimate level of accomplishment and the WHY, with that base level of understanding, it will help them want to also achieve.
