Encourage team members to express their individual concerns, perspectives, and aspirations regarding the project's goals in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Probe deeper than surface-level disagreements to uncover the underlying needs, motivations, and values that drive each team member's position. Analyze the diverse viewpoints to identify shared interests, overlapping goals, or potential compromises that can bridge the divide and foster consensus. Involve the entire team in crafting a revised set of goals that incorporates everyone's input, addresses their concerns, and aligns with the organization's overarching mission.

1. Understand the Discrepancies Listen Actively: Hold individual and group meetings to understand the differing opinions and concerns. Encourage open dialogue and listen without judgment. Identify Root Causes: Determine if the division is due to misunderstandings, lack of information, conflicting interests, or other reasons.

Right Communication including listening is the key to align the team towards the common goal. Have one to one and group meetings to understand issues and motivate people to Work towards the goal. Try to align people's own goal with the common one and communicate the same in an effective way multiple times. Break goals in achievable milestones and clearly define roles and responsibilities of each team member. Promote open communication and team work. Celebrating the success is also equally important.

Clear Communication channels. Having the right communication channels in place. This goes beyond having email, messaging app etc. it means having the right culture in place to react in the proper way to said communication. Define your vision. First place where organization tend to come across trouble is in defining their vision. Use vocabulary that is clear Explain how vision will impact their day to day. Provide regular updates on what to expect. Share timelines and teams documentation to assure employees. Create two-way communication channels. En tant que consultant et coach en management des cabinets dentaires, j'ai souvent constaté que la division au sein des équipes freine leur performance. Pour aligner tout le monde, il est crucial de définir une vision partagée, faciliter une communication ouverte et fixer des objectifs SMART (Spécifiques, Mesurables, Atteignables, Réalistes, Temporels). En impliquant chaque membre dans la définition des objectifs, en assurant un suivi régulier et en reconnaissant les efforts, nous créons un environnement harmonieux et performant.

Setting goals just a stated using the SMART approach setting a clear goal is making a well defined plans on what you want to achieve, specifying measurable criteria for success, and setting a realistic timeline.

Setting clear goals is one thing however identifying each member's strengths and short coming provides a good alignment of delegation so that you do not leave anyone behind and make others feel less of a contributor towards reaching the goal. Everyone will excel in their own skills and ability creating collaboration within the team.

Well I believe every team work as a catalyst for the success of the organization that being said it’s of high importance that their is collective collaboration among team to achieve organization goals

I agree on the emphasis on highlighting the importance of each person's contribution and how it benefits the team. This not only builds trust and respect among team members but also motivates individuals to work together towards a common objective. In my experience, collaboration is the foundation of a high-performing team. When team members feel valued, they are more likely to be engaged, productive, and committed to achieving the team's goals. To take it a step further, I believe that leaders should also provide the necessary tools and resources to facilitate collaboration, such as regular team meetings, and open communication channels. By doing so, leaders can create an environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and innovation.

In order to find alignment in my opinion is having an open discussion, where the agreeable areas can be set aside and focusing on concerns and differences. Tackle each of them one by one and share ideas until there comes an equal medium. I'd also consider the amount of time this could take ans definitely set aside a specific amount of time for this opportunity ensuring there isn't a whole lot of time wasted.

One thing that I think is a game changer is to give your team the chance to have a say in the vision statement creation. I don't mean to revise your vision statement every time you hire a new employee but to select a core team in the beginning of crafting whatever the vision is. By doing so, you get a general consensus of a buy-in that gives a sense of belonging and ownership. It gives your team the "why" behind the vision that will get passed down generations. However, that's not enough, leadership has got to live and model the vision.

Seek confirmation that the team fully understands the vision and then intentionally hold the team accountable to execute the vision with respect to their roles. Confirm each team member commits to executing the vision while being willing to accept the results of each team members contributions.

That's the main reason, because every individual has a different purpose, as a leader I try to figure out the purpose of each one and talk to them in a way that goal looks interesting. If the goal or target seems big or huge, break it down and it has to be done on bits. During the process, keep pushing a little more to get better.

Develop a roadmap by first understanding everyone's individual goals and strategies for achieving them. Gather these inputs to create a master plan that illustrates how mutual support can accelerate reaching the goals. Guide the team towards a shared objective with a clear vision, showing how collaboration and working in conjunction with one another will help attain the goal more efficiently.
