- I believe that you have to establish from the beginning the main non-negotiables principles and strategies to follow and, in the rest, it is good to let people create their own vision, let them experiment with the possibilities and the tools you offer. Success can be achieved in many ways and, if they align to your expressed needs, you may discover that you people bring valuable new methods you didn't know about. So be flexible, let them create and provide results using any methods they consider, and then choose the best from everything on the plate. It is therefore good to have a team compound from members coming from various domains and business perspectives when you need creative ideas.

When your team’s split on creative ideas, start by getting everyone to share their thoughts openly. Encourage discussion and openness initially, contain any criticism or judgement. When trust & honesty is established, look for overlapping themes or common goals. If in person, put all ideas in clear view and collaboratively highlight the best bits from each idea and maybe blend them together. Remind everyone that teamwork is key to turning any idea into success.
