When disparities in resource allocation arise, I prioritize the needs of our projects with clear priorities and resource allocation with respect to the most important elements of the project goals. I facilitate healthy and open communication to give team members the confidence to express and collaborate on problems that arise. Adjustments to the project plan will allow for flexibility to encourage team members to pivot with their needs, rather than having them languish while we strategize the best way to accommodate their requests. Transparency and a common understanding of project goals and objectives help teams align in project times of pressure or urgency.

In our team, we use a mix of: usage of tools like Jira, Trello and our own CRM system for planning; establishing clear priorities (that's a must); and of course clear and open communication between the departments and their leaders.
