Why, what's the better alternative? I would like to hear the counter-argument. Had it not been for Agile, we would still use candles to light up rooms. Agile is the key methodology for continuous and constructive progress, hypothesis fortification, and efficient distribution of resources. There is a strong case for this methodology, and unless a better one is proposed, it shouldn't be difficult to persuade stakeholders of its benefits. After all, which business-minded individual would want to grow a company without tested and validated implementations? As in all cases of resistance, it is essential to "sell" by demonstrating real value.
