To avoid this a bottom up process would be more than welcome by the team 1) Share with the team the need for better results 2)Share with them the consistent KPIs and help them to realize that there's a need for change 3)Introduce them the new tools 4)Propose a test for a small group and plan a weekly meeting to discuss any improvement. 3) Once understood if it works or not and fixed the process, involve the rest of the team with the new techniques. 4)Weekly meeting and KPIs monitoring will be enough to lead the group towards the change
