While this is being addressed, I would check up on the team makeup and dynamics and "fix" whatever can be fixed. At this point it is time for some formal brainstorming sessions- no idea is a bad idea. I would also look for some technical help from people who are good "out-of-the-box" thinkers and whose specialty is removed from what the team is trying to accomplish.
