People will either: 1. Love you (whoopee) 2. Ignore you (already are) 3. Dislike you (who cares) Got no time for 2 & 3. . . . There's no person that everybody likes. Keep it real. Stay you.

When others question your personal brand, consider it a sign that you're standing out—like the brightest yellow umbrella in a sea of grey:). Rather than fitting in, aim for your personal brand to be memorable, because true leadership is not just about presence but about creating a curiosity that makes people pause and think.

View feedback as a mirror not a weapon. I was once told by a very dear friend of mine that my personal brand seemed inauthentic an my first instinct was to defend myself. But I paused and asked "what makes you say that?" I won't mention her answer here because that was a bit of mystery I had to unfold lol! But the point is, this simple question opened up a valuable dialogue. I see critical feedback as a chance to refine my brand, not a threat to it and so should you. The key is to stay curious, not defensive. For me it was hard to do so and I'm sure for others it hard stay grounded but it's worth it. Ask questions, reflect honestly and be willing to evolve.

1. Stay objective: Evaluate the feedback objectively, without letting it affect your self-esteem. 2. Open dialogue: Talk to colleagues to understand their concerns and clarify any misunderstandings. 3. Create an action plan: Develop a strategy to address valid criticisms and strengthen your brand.

When your personal brand is questioned, stay open-minded. Listen to feedback without defensiveness, acknowledge their concerns, and ask for clarification if needed. Use this as a chance to realign your brand, showing adaptability and growth. A thoughtful response can strengthen relationships and reinforce your authenticity.
