Once the new policy has been rolled out, read by the team, and signed, it would be helpful to set up a time to through the new policy changes to address any questions or concerns to ensure clarity. Also, do not be afraid to refer/refresh yourself on the changes as needed.

The best way to make sure your team is on board with policy changes is to: 1. Tell them changes are coming and help them understand why. Don't pretend it's best for them if it's not. 2. Tell them the changes are coming (not a typo - people don't pay attention. Prepare them.) 3. Address issues 1:1 when they happen, but present the solutions en masse. Give credit to the people or teams making positive change. 4. Tell the team where they're winning; they may not readily see it. 5. Not everyone will be on board. Go through those scenarios gracefully and tactfully. 6. Make caring about staff your intention and it will go more smoothly. Treat them how you'd want your kids treated in the workplace.
