Yes, this doesn’t happen with only marketing team, any team that works on an objective would be less motivated in the process of achieving a goal. So my approach with the team would be addressing every member of the team to tell me the objective of the task individually to understand if the member had buy in the objective and give a clear and easy roadmap to achieve so the moment they bought my roadmap, they get motivated.

These are the important things to keep in mind while clearing new objective 1) Call for a team meeting & Clearly define and explain the new objective 2) Incentivise the team by casually telling them about the team dinner at so and so place once the objective is achieved 3) Clear all ambiguity by clearing all the doubts that anyone in the team may have

I suggest that the team have small scrum meeting before the start of the day and at the end of the day, to make sure that everyone is on the same page with the progress on the work. In these meetings review the work done and provide feedback so that we get the best of the work that would require close to no changes later on.
