Change is about learning and evolving. Help your executive team to understand that. They probably heard this "Embrace Change" so many times. But What does it actually mean to them and YOU? And what if they saw CHANGE as an opportunity? Everything starts with an Intention. Embracing change is about applying what we learn! Taking Actions that matter! Explain to them the "WHY" behind the change and understand where the resistance is coming from. "If you are same person you were yesterday meaning you have not learnt something new, it means you are not growing" Agree?

When people resist change, they're usually saying that they want to hold on to what they have and don't want to venture into an unknown. It's natural. Begin with explaining both aspects of this (1) What is the risk of standing still (2) What opportunities the change can offer?

We nearly always get 'resistance' when we didn't involve people in creating the change. If we have not involved them, we had better listen and respond positively to their concerns. People like to 'do with' not 'be done to'.

It's all about questions and understanding. 1. What is the resistance to? 2. What is behind the resistance? 3. What are their aims/ desires? 4. Address any fears 5. Gain alignment on desired outcomes 6. Create a plan to get to the outcomes whilst tackling/ overcoming fear/ resistance 7. Take an iterative approach with conversations and regular alignment points
