You should hired the technical team (electrical and mechanical) which have relevant expertise of trouble shooting Lifts and Escalators to identify and rectify them immediately. For this you should have also the relevant spares in inventory to minimize the down time. One more important thing is to undergo the regular service maintenance and inspection in order to identify the faults prior to any major shut down.

It's also important to maintain a stock of fast moving spare parts especially the critical and long lead time at least in minimum stock
