During restructuring, clear communication and empathy are key. Be transparent about changes, share the long-term vision, and address concerns openly. Reinforce your team's value, offer support, and focus on how these changes create new opportunities.

In times of restructuring, it's essential to lead with transparency and empathy. I would foster open communication, addressing concerns directly and providing clear updates to maintain trust. Encouraging a collaborative environment where the team feels supported and heard helps mitigate fears and keeps everyone focused on the shared goals ahead.

Restructuring the organisation must be build on future, not in the past . Visualise, organise, plan and roll out restructuring in transparent and open manner Present the ‘what if ‘ situation with the change and outline repercussions of status quo leading to downfall of every stakeholder. Take all stakeholders, including employees onboard. Show them compassion and make sure that they appreciate and accept why restructuring is vital and immediate. Honesty and transparency is the best policy

With the company undergoing changes, I’ve felt some anxiety about my role and the future. Here are a few things I'm doing to stay grounded that I’d like to share: First, I try to focus on what I can control by performing well and maintaining a positive attitude. Staying informed by keeping up with company updates reduces the fear of the unknown, and I've encouraged my colleagues to ask questions if anything is unclear. I'm also working on developing new skills to stay adaptable. Supporting my colleagues has been helpful too; open conversations provide reassurance during uncertain times. Lastly, I've updated my CV just in case and started exploring other opportunities. It’s good to be prepared while hoping for the best!

Open and transparent communication is key during times of change. Providing regular updates on the restructuring process and addressing any concerns head-on helps build trust and reassures the team that they’re not in the dark. It’s also important to focus on the positives—highlighting new opportunities that the restructuring may bring.
