I use open-ended questions to help clients explore their motivations and reasons for change, which strengthens their personal connection to their goals. Reflective listening is key; by paraphrasing their thoughts, I show empathy and ensure they feel understood, which builds trust. Affirming their strengths and past successes helps remind them of their capability, reinforcing their belief in themselves. I also like to break down goals into smaller, manageable steps to maintain momentum. What approaches have you found helpful in keeping clients focused and committed?
