By remembering that setbacks are part of growth. I focus on my clients’ resilience, not just their struggles. Every challenge is a lesson, and I guide them to see opportunities in adversity. Staying motivated means leading by example—practicing self-care, continuous learning, and celebrating even small wins. Their progress, no matter how slow, fuels my passion to keep going.

Setbacks are no exceptions but a certainty in life. As a coach one should try and understand the feelings they are going through. Reframe the setback as a learning opportunity by identifying what led to the failures. May be the coach has to re-strategise the style of coaching by planning ahead of what may go wrong. Reset the goals Build resilience Take action Review intermittently Celebrate the achievements

As an ICF certified coach I will always commit to being here for the clients. I know my worth is not based on the clients' successes or their set backs. If the client chooses to talk about the setback in one of the sessions, then that's what we'll talk about. I'll give 100% of my attention, patience, and curiosity to my clients. I'll ask curious questions for my clients benefit, not mine. I'll listen without interrupting. I'll listen with ease so they don't feel rushed. I'll show appreciation for how they work through their thoughts and feelings. I will create the best environment I can for each coaching session. Who knows, maybe the client considers the setback as a good thing. :) #DeliberateDecisionsCoaching #YouAreHumanFirst

When my clients hit one setback after another, it’s easy to feel like the journey is stalled. But I remind myself that every setback is an opportunity for growth, a chance to reflect and realign. The key is to focus on progress, not perfection. I keep the energy positive by reframing challenges as stepping stones, not roadblocks. And I lean into empathy, reminding my clients that resilience isn't about avoiding failure but about bouncing back stronger. Through it all, I stay motivated by the belief that transformation is a process, not a destination. It's about the small wins, and those little victories? They matter. The journey never ends, but it’s always worth the ride!
