Your client is triggered during a session. How can you provide the support they need?

Triggers can be anything. It is unique for many people. I think if i was in this situation, i would consider this: - Session continuation: I would think whether to end the session or continue. This is based on context and my feel of the session. I would also ask the service user themselves, if they wish to continue or end the session. Maybe even consider a short 5 or 10 minute break to recover. - open discussion: whether we discuss this in the same session, post session or after a break, discussing the trigger is important to manage the trigger and try prevent it. This involves an open and honest discussion with the service user.
