Um Emotionen zu regulieren ist immer ratsam uns sehr effektiv, praktische Tools wie bspw. ATHEM- TECHNIKEN, EFT, oder Brethwork Methoden zu nutzen um dem Klienten m?gliche Auswege aus der Situatin zu geben. Für all diese Methodenist aktives mitwirkendes Klienten gefordert, so dass seine Aufmerksamkeit vom Gefühl gel?st werden und Konzentrstion auf verschiedene Aktivit?ten gelenkt werden. Individuell, ist es jedoch in der Anwendung, da jeder Mensch anders reagiert und sich einlassen kann. Viele Klienten k?nnen Akustisch oder sendorisch, durch Musik oder Duft leichter aus einem Status finden.

Cuando un cliente se siente abrumado por sus emociones, lo primero que debemos hacer es validar lo que está sintiendo. A veces, solo necesitan que alguien los escuche sin juicios, que les diga: "Está bien sentirte así." Crear ese espacio seguro, donde pueden expresarse sin miedo a ser malinterpretados, es el primer paso para que empiecen a procesar sus emociones. Es importante que sientan que no tienen que reprimir lo que sienten y que sus emociones son válidas. Después de validar sus emociones, guiarlos hacia el manejo constructivo es clave. En lugar de empujar soluciones rápidas, ofrecerles herramientas sencillas, como técnicas de respiración o ejercicios de grounding, puede ayudarles a reenfocarse.

Validate their feelings. Acknowledge their emotions without judgment to create a safe space. This is the most effective strategy for my clients. Emotions are good, and expressing them is healthy. Having that safe space is important for a trusting relationship. Providing them with subtle cues to mirror and slowly calm down without pushing is also a useful strategy.

Feeling overwhelmed by emotions is scary. I create a safe space by telling the client, "I'm here for you... we'll meet this together." I invite them to let the emotion move through, helping them to ground in the present moment. When the emotion has moved through, I notice with the client that emotions are expressed as waves which helps build resilience. Sometimes, there's so much fear, people can experience panic... this requires a different approach.
