The medium or manner in which a skill is honed can be different, but it boils down to fundamentals. Make a careful analysis of what suits you.

Once you know what you need, it’s time to pick your learning battlegrounds. Books from thought leaders can be gold mines of insight. Online platforms like Coursera or LinkedIn Learning offer courses designed by super experts in the field. Podcasts are perfect for on-the-go insights, and industry conferences can provide deep dives into specific areas, plus networking opportunities. Always keep looping for learning opportunities. What I do to get the most of new trends is to look for Podcasts with relevant participants and experts in the area, HBR/MIT articles that usually are backed by research or experience on case studies, new researches and papers available from different universities and scholars, and books. The most important for me is to be on the shoulders of giants. As doing our own research sometimes take a huge time and demands huge data, build up on someone’s research. Will save time and it is proven.

After self-segmentation, select the target segment based on its size and potential. Assess existing players, their resources, and your own. Make a strategic choice aligned with your capabilities and market opportunities for optimal entry and growth. Adaptation and differentiation are key for success in this chosen arena.

I get personal insights and tips that's not available online. I build community and put my new knowledge to test. I seek for direct feedback and iterate from there. Many underestimate the power of peer learning and the valuable network formed through this. The results have been amazing, leading not only personal growths but also opening new doors for me.
