En mi experiencia puedo comentar que para lograr los objetivos de calidad también se requiere el involucramiento de todos los colaboradores. Por tanto también es esencial difundir los objetivos de calidad a todos los empleados para que comprendan su importancia y puedan contribuir desde sus roles diarios. Desde el empleado de línea de producción hasta el gerente, cada uno juega un papel crucial en la entrega de productos y servicios de alta calidad.

Através do Mapeamento de Fluxo de Valor e a partir dos gaps identificados, estabelecer um plano de trabalho que consiga chegar ao resultado esperado. Neste caso, tenha sempre em mente que é preciso ter bem definido seus KPIs e os objetivos e metas.

Qualidade é algo t?o abrangente e pode ser t?o genérico, fica inviável dizer que se trabalha com qualidade quando n?o tem um objetivo bem definido. Queremos trabalhar com qualidade? O que define qualidade no nosso servi?o ou produto? Quais itens e indicadores devemos observar para determinar se estamos realizando o trabalho com qualidade ou n?o? I am a firm believer of promoting the use of Kaizen events as a valuable tool that benefits all functions and levels within the organization. These events are designed to support an effective brainstorming session that focuses on a defined ineffective process and identifies ways to improve and drive efficiencies. When done well, using this methodology promotes a culture of quality and continuous improvement and also fosters an environment of out of the box thinking.

To assess our current performance, customer feedback is crucial. Gathering information not only shows customers that their opinions matter, but also strengthens the customer-provider relationship/partnership. It’s essential to remember that customers have the power to fire everyone in a company, just buying in another company!

Implementing a "closed loop" approach is an important factor when assessing the results of any improvement initiative or process that has been put in to place. By continuously monitoring critical processes, the organization can quickly assess if additional modifications/improvements need to be made as well as determine if existing improvements have made an impact and met the intent of the original objectives that were defined. Within the medical device space there are elements within the Quality Management System that systemically assess these elements on an ongoing basis to determine effectivenesses of a process as well as product performance.

Fostering a culture of continuous improvement as well as building "in quality" early in the design and development process are key elements to process and product success. I also believe that mapping out strategies around measuring Cost of Poor Product Quality and understanding the industry landscape, and the overall impact specifically related to an organization and their product portfolio is a means to ensure that the objectives are being mapped appropriately to support scale and growth (equaling risk reduction/mitigation on a short term and long term basis).
