People have different opinions about this, so let me share my perspective. Many individuals get stuck at the point of choosing a programming language and spend a lot of time pondering which one to pick. ?? It’s like not knowing what you’re building but researching which tools to use. My advice is to start by choosing a project; the project itself will guide you toward learning a specific language. In my opinion, that’s the correct approach. Interestingly, this is precisely what professional coders do: they understand the general structure of code and then select the language based on the project they’re handling.

To improve in coding without spending a lot, utilize free online resources like Codecademy, freeCodeCamp, and MIT OpenCourseWare. Practice regularly on platforms like LeetCode and GitHub. Join coding communities for support and feedback, and read open-source code to learn from real projects.

First, as a beginner, you have to select a language that can be easily learn, think about community support, if you have a question during your learning process there is a huge chance to get an available answer from the community Next you have ti select a language that has a better future with your personal goals these two factors enough to select a language to learn

During the initial stage of learning, it's important to work on our motivation. We could do that by keeping track of our progress: 1. Research the structure and aspects of the language you've chosen. E.g. JavaScript: Data types, variables, functions, methods, HOF... etc. Once you have massed this information: 2. Set small goals (no rush). There will be difficult things to get the first time, but you will. 3. Find websites or apps related to the language you're learning and identify content related to your specific goal. 4. Invest time in solving problems. Logic and critical thinking do not come isolated from the language you've chosen.

YouTube can be the best choice when you are selecting free resources and also most of the languages have a documentation page, since there is some documentation with complex guidance but there are readable resources available for free

You may find many pages and apps but try to keep them down to a minimum. If two resources are doing the trick, then stick to them. We don't want to wind up wandering through content not getting anywhere. Find more resources only when another one does not fit your needs. Finally, contrast everything to their respective documentation. Learning to dive through documentation is hard at first, but the sooner you learn it, the better your experience as a developer will be.

Don't hesitate to share what you've built. Embracing criticism, comments, and compliments alike will be crucial in refining your coding skills. Stay resilient, as some feedback may be tough to swallow. Remember, when dealing with people, reactions are beyond your control.

The most useful content from streamers is when cloning things. However, don't take everything they say as the Ten Commandments as sometimes, they learn about something right before streaming about it.

The only way to keep it fun is by doing what you like and learning what you want to learn. Make useful things. You are your first client. Make apps that you will use and give yourself feedback as a developer and as a user.
