But networking is not, and as far as i am concerned, should not be laser focussed on what you can get...that will come... but equally on what YOU can give. By adding more to your network (who feel/act the same way), you add value to all those already in it. And work on building an interest in people generally, not for what you can get from them but because its people who enrich your life, and that of those you care about.

I would then create a brief 10 sentence monograph about the newest information and forward it to my boss and peers. If they liked it or wanted to dig deeper I would work with them to either take the training or even design our own customized to our internal teams.

Sometimes it’s less about the services you offer and more about the little ways you can help people get to where they want to go. Networking is a skill to keep improving on. You may not be great at it everyday but if you work at it and become intentional with your network you will be great!
