The most crucial thing is if the driver is healthy physically and mentally, we need to ensure that he had adequate rest, sleep so that he is fresh and active and can handle stress with delivery deadlines, pressures, calls to be on time. Also they need to coordinate and follow what the Journey management have informed them regarding the diversions if any, Road blocks, weather challenges etc, so that before starting the trip itself they are aware of the situation and their mind is prepared, alert to react to it. This avoids alot of Accidents and fatalities. Ensuring that the deliveries are on time and the drivers are driving safely. This will be win win situation for everyone
