Debe también preveerse las plataformas de publicación de resultados, lo que influye mucho también en los requerimimentos de software. Las limitantes presupuestarias suelen tener mayor o menor incidencia, así como la capacitación del personal a cargo de alimentar y operara la plataforma. Son varas opciones de software GIS, y de aplicaciones adicionales para manejo de estadísticas y otros procesos necesarios.
