There are many tools to help you with that! You may use a platform such as 15five, which helps you track performance, effectiveness, engagement, in a continuous way. You may choose to go with collaborative interfaces such as Figma, where you can track what is being done real time in a fun and interactive way. But the best tool is always the leader. For a leader who cares about their team, knows their goals and develops them so they can be successful, a blank page is more powerful than the most modern tool in the hands of a leader that doesn't care. So, get a good tool to make it easier, schedule purposeful 1:1s, recognize the efforts as they happen, correct the course when needed, and make this your most important process as a leader.

Project Management Tools: Trello: Trello allows you to create boards and cards to track tasks and projects. It provides a visual overview of work progress and team contributions. Asana: Asana is a project management tool that helps teams organize work, set priorities, and collaborate effectively. Communication and Collaboration Tools: Slack: Slack is a messaging platform that facilitates real-time communication within teams. It helps in reducing email clutter and promoting quick information exchange. Microsoft Teams: Teams provides chat, video conferencing, file sharing, and integration with other Microsoft 365 apps, enhancing collaboration among team members.

Continuous feedback is much easier said than done. Indeed, 69% of managers are uneasy communicating with employees according to Harvard Business Review. Not surprisingly, 2/3 of employees say they want more frequent feedback. If we hope to make meaningful progress on this front, we must rethink the assumption that feedback should be channeled via the manager. Further, to incentivize frequency, we must dramatically simplify the format and the mode in which feedback is generated.

Zavvy - for performance management, engagement, and skill matrix. It has too many features but very great tools set.

Living in a dynamic world, where everything changes very fast, I don't believe in learning paths that are built on theoretical knowledge or outdated business cases. What I believe in is experiential learning, particularly learning by doing. When selecting a tool, remember to consider factors such as ease of use, integration capabilities with existing systems, and the flexibility to align with your organization's unique recognition and rewards strategy.

The key to effective performance evaluation lies in focusing on meaningful conversations and human interactions rather than relying solely on new tools. While technology can offer valuable data, it's crucial to prioritize open communication, regular feedback, and a collaborative team culture for holistic performance assessment.
