Feedback Matters: Take an anonymous feedback and tell them that it is fundamentally to know how good/bad your presentation was. Request them to provide an honest feedback, use anonymous feedback polls/forms. Incorporate suggestions also in your feedback form.

Feedback has always been a challenge for many. The winner here is the specifics. The questions asked must have very clear answers that are objective. You may ask for additional information. However, open ended questions don't always work with audiences who are new to the craft.

psychologically safety is huge. People will rarely feedback honestly if they think they will be identified. It's therefore important to at the very least give the option of anonymous feedback. At least one of the questions need to be open. Some of the most valuable feedback is on something you never thought of

La retroalimentación durante la reunión es primordial para saber si se esta comprendiendo que se esta presentando. It can help. But the questions need to be on specific things that are not open to multiple interpretations (odd one out questions are notorious for this). It is best to assess knowledge on facts that are clear and unambigious.

A more advanced and effective way to evaluate the impact of your presentation is to ask your team to create and implement action plans based on what they learned. You can assign specific tasks or goals to your team that relate to the topic and the purpose of your presentation. If you really want to assess knowledge and retention don't ask for the action plan on the day. So often the knowledge stays in the training room. So ask them the following week and you will get a much more accurate representation of what was really learned.

Talk to them in an informal setting some time after the event, either one to one, or in a small group, e.g. over lunch. Since it's your team, you'll likely have opportunities to do this. Asking casually elicits more candid answers than formal methods. Also, because there is less friction (most participants want to get on with their day, not spend time bashing out answers on a form), and some time has passed, you'll know what stuck on in their memories and what didn't.

Set learning goals ahead or at the start of the meeting. Then assess whether those learning goals were achieved....the following week. Dont ask immediately. You want to see if practice has changed. This makes clear whether or not the intention it was achieved.
