In my opinion the data storage in cloud or cloud computing both require a careful analysis at the first place to decide private, public or hybrid cloud implementation. The data owners need to sit with legal team to assess the requirements peculiar to our data and then only any other step can follow. The business interests of the organisation also needs to be kept in mind while deciding the storage of data in a cloud environment. Best wishes
