Using a checklist is a surefire way to hit a home run when preparing a meeting—even one at the last minute. Also, it's good to be friends with the IT people. If you sometimes have to ask them to pull a rabbit out of their hat and do something for you at the last minute, then make sure you take care of them with gift certificates from their favorite coffee shop.

Last-minute client meetings? No panic here. The key is leveraging relationships across the organization. As a C-suite EA, I’ve built strong connections with every department, so when these meetings pop up, I can tap into the right resources quickly. First, I review the client’s file to refresh key details, then reach out to my go-to contacts to ensure all materials are current and relevant. The real secret? It’s not just about prep—it’s about having a network you can rely on. That way, you’re always ready, no matter how last-minute the ask is!

In my case, as Credentialing Assistance, I would run into some legal issues in the clients past for which I need direction as to how to go about it.
