In 2018 I was working as a Sales Rep in a tech company. I remember dealing with stringent processes, and no open channel with my superiors. Nonetheless, I cared for I what my department was doing and I knew that we all struggled with the CRM software we were working with. We needed to change towards a software that could provide us with a more data driven decision on what leads to target, so to close on more sales. I did a research, which involved calling out colleagues from other businesses, and also benchmarking online to see use cases for CRM softwares. I collected what I needed and presented to my boss, who couldn't simply say no to a proposal well developed and based on numbers.
