If you are a Construction Engineer you don't do Research but you have a lot of analysis to do to Prevent Failure and to analyse a failure if it happens be it excessive Settlement, A Shutter Kicks or a crane Turns over Success or experience is achieved from lots of small failures and addressing them so as not to see them again. when you feel out of your Depth dont let your ego get in the way . Get a second opinion and call on your Mentor . A lot can be managed over Video meeting . You often only have one chance Be humble and have your decision checked. it helps you bond in your team . Dont hold back to mentor your Juniors. A Crane turning over is a very expensive Training Course and dont become a serial killer by not checking

In everything we do in life, failure is part of the process. If we don't fail, we don't do better. Simple as that. Only through failure, we learn to do better the next time and so on. So when a project or a task fails, as a civil engineer you know too well to go back to the drawing boards and start analyzing and putting things in chronological orders. And start prioritizing the worst cases that led to the project to fail. It's not rocket science. Everyone at one point in life had to go through failure to be better.

One thing I've found about is knowing more knowledge of the particular item that you failed. By knowing the real knowledge, and provid cause of actions like supplying more Questionable items and let others answer those QIs. That is where more valuable answers will come from outside/people who have the knowledge and experience. It should place you well to correct the failures well

As an engineer, it's clear that learning from mistakes is crucial. The first step in this process is to analyze the root causes of failures. This analysis allows you to become a more well-rounded engineer. In my opinion, the engineers who truly excel are those who aren't afraid to take calculated risks and think outside the box.

In civil engineering works every thing or work are different, first we assume and design/plan accordingly but we have to be verification of ground realities and the work process, be ready to face the ground realities.... and act accordingly.... and success.

You have yo be in control and proactive. Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with the research project and develop strategies to mitigate or manage them proactively. Anticipate challenges that may arise during the project and prepare contingency plans to address unexpected obstacles or setbacks.

Dentro de mi vida educativa e investigativo e podido evidenciar que el éxito no es el premio mayor sino más bien el mejor logro es el error ya que en la revisión del problema pueden tener varias alternativas y pueden nacer nuevas alternativas o proyectos nuevos

Re check the last project management processes and their outcomes. Then check for loopholes. Then make amend for future projects.
