Before testing an API, It is imperative to know URl, endpoints and API's behavior from API document like swagger. Once all these prerequisites met. We can happily test API. First and foremost thing we have to do is select request type. If necessary provide details about request body, authentication details like bearer token, set and unset environment, collection level variable throughout run. Configure data driven testing for API testing. Once all these things ready click on run button and check read the response body. Validate the response details are as per the API behaviour or not. Export the collection and make it feasible to run via CLI, CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins etc.
