Load testing determines the number of users that can access the program (API) simultaneously without crashing the system, in this case. It also provides interface accessibility measured in milliseconds after so many thousands of users have simultaneously accessed the API in most cases. Often, it would be client-to-web server access, such as in a Tuxedo architecture. Load testing identifies software, Internet, and hardware processing speeds and performance weaknesses. The API would be the interface between the user and web server apps. Providing reliability and consistency is the ultimate goal.

Load testing is important for API testing but unfortunately it is not possible without using proper tools.As a QA we can’t find proper result without any tool. But before that expectation from the API should be defined,because user experience is depends on the performance of the application.
