This involves collecting data on their academic skills, learning styles, preferences, interests, goals, and backgrounds. By understanding each student individually, I can tailor my approach to meet their specific needs, creating a more inclusive and engaging learning environment. This personalised understanding forms the foundation for adapting instructional strategies that resonate with each student, fostering a more effective and supportive educational experience.

Definitely getting an insight to students' personality, behavioral problems is of utmost importance. Building trust relationships to enable the students to come up to you in time of need is crucial to know your students.

Be it online or offline learning the engagement of the students becomes high when they are grouped and formed into teams. It is worth spending time to help them choose a name to the team. Once the instructor introduces reward systems that will make every student to participate.

I can add here a few differentiation learning techniques so that the students may not feel left out. Develop strategies to teach, to assess, and to evaluate in such a way that they should learn the content taught with ease. That different content should not be exposed to the rest of the class to enhance the confidence of the below average students. It is true to some extent that most of the students have excellent IQ and they don't want to write? They can be provided with mental Math worksheets and the same kind of reinforcements for the other subjects as well ?

As a secondary school science teacher who served most bilingual students, I strongly believe in instructional differentiation based on periodic formal and informal evaluations. There needs to be more clarity among a few teachers that they must make different seating arrangements in the class or categorize students just once a year to fulfill their diverse needs. On the contrary, each student’s learning graph changes from time to time based on prior knowledge and experiences. Differentiating them once a year or making different seating arrangements is not very helpful. Moreover, assessing students' learning styles, such as visual, auditory, or kinesthetic, and providing the environment and resources would increase their cognitive skills.
