Always remember, in design, it's about picking up something new every day and improving your designs bit by bit. No design is flawless, but every design is valuable. 1. Attention to details: is the key for sharpen up your UI/ UX Skills. It's the mindset, obsession, and may be OCD and not so much on methodologies or frameworks. 2. Tooling: Know more than enough by spending hours watching free tutorial on YouTube, every tools possible, not just Figma. My first Dashboard UI designs back in 2010s was done by PowerPoint. 3. Aesthetics: Nothing to compare with your own curiosity and desire to create world-class designs. Copy those great designers on Behance and Dribbles first, then create variations of your own. 4. Understanding how a business works: As a UI designer, if you don't understand the end-goals, how your designs could impact business results, then your outputs are just for showcasing.

While designing is creating something out of the box but working with familiarity and keeping design principles in mind is like "growing up in a different country but following your roots and culture all together". As it feels good, learning and visualising new things, it feels great knowing about roots and proud following them everywhere with you. Design principles are basic they provide foundation to your design, They give you the space to think innovatively, they inspire you to create something new and great.

In my experience, some practices helped with prototyping scaling products: 1. Set prototyping rules to make it easier for you ex. if you have a design system, create page templates of the most commonly used ones, apply the prototyping events & navigation on that template, that would save you tons of work. 2. Try doing more of 'Interactive Components' which are components that have fixed behavior where you do the prototyping on the component itself and reuse it. (Note: dynamic components are those who behave differently in each case/scenario, don't apply prototyping rules to these) 3. try to keep your prototype simple, nothing fancy or too many animations unless you're working in an industry that needs so. Finally, test, iterate & fix ??

When working in a collaborative environment, one key thing to do is get validation early, or even as you go along. Don’t wait until the last minute or when you think you have the perfect design/wireframes. This reduces friction and increases efficiency, while allowing you to accomplish the desired end goal much quicker without sacrificing quality.

Documenting or making a case study from the beginning gives a clear idea and a big picture of your process. While coming to the iteration part you'll have many things before so you won't struggle finding users for iteration and validation everything will be in front of you. Validation comes from satisfaction and that doesn't mean that users will be satisfied every time so it is also important to have a plan B or be prepared for last minute changes to be a good designer of all time.

Two important tips in the iteration and validation processes: create constant cycles of experimentation and don't get attached to an initial solution. Whenever we see a potential good solution, transforming familiarity can introduce bias and influence the entire project. Therefore, experimentation cycles will help test all solutions researched in the insights, allowing for adaptations to enhance the solutions. Research (ux/ui) é um recurso como qualquer outro, e tem que ser utilizado com sabedoria. Isso para n?o desgastar o usuário e também para usar a estrutura e recurso da melhor forma. O ponto é, buscar referências que podem encurtar caminho. Aprender com jornadas existentes, testar de forma indireta, e principalmente interpretar os dados que você já possui. Isso tudo pra refor?ar a importancia de validar! De alguma forma, valide! N?o ache que para validar, precisa de toda estrutura, framework, metodologia, etc. Isso vai invalidar a escala de "valida??es com usuario".

We think we are the smartest, we know everything while reading some articles or watching some videos or doing some certificate and we forget to think about other responses and that's what we are for "user experience". Talking to others helps us determine our place where we stand and also how much more effort we need to do for more betterment. It feels good when someone appreciates you for your work but great when someone points out your mistakes which we avoid next time!

I strongly believe ‘Feedback’ is a leverage to gather constructive criticism and deeper understanding of the problem or expectation that your design is trying to solve. Always be open to receiving feedback as it gives you the perspective or persona you may have missed. Upon receiving feedback never doubt yourself instead use that to improve yourself - this approach facilitates good collaboration across multiple teams; unifies thought process thus driving great results

Work as a team is - in my experience - the best way to achieve results. The power that we can put on a problem when acting in collaboration is incredible. For sure, this is the case where result is more than the sum of each contribute :)

The ability to work well with others and effectively convey your ideas is paramount. Prototyping isn't a solo journey; it's a collaborative effort that requires clear communication to ensure everyone is aligned and moving towards a common goal.

The most common thing I have seen is people trying to stick to one or two animation types. Specially in Figma. While may it be true that mostly those fair few always work, it may not be true for every time and project. Try different things, different variations, delays, timers, seconds, effects. With that said, never take anything as negative criticism, always positive. This will certainly make it's way into your personality and you will be ahead of peers in no time. Time flies, but make it count. Learn from it to earn from it.

There is one thing missing here fall. Learn-fall- grow. After my learning phase, when I actually applied implementing it, I fell more than it grew. When does it made me sad? Never. By every fall, I learnt how to stand back. And grew much more. Every time you fail, you come up with an identical personality who is far better than your past. You learn you fall you learn again and fall you learn again and fall and boom it's a success this time! You'll end up with a greater product you might not have got in the first place.

A few great ways to do this: - Create a mini app and prototype it - Try and tackle complex animations for a particular interaction. Micro interactions are super important! - Use screens from the 'Figma Community' to create prototypes to improve your skills.

Study existing digital products and there processes. Tear the UX process apart and investigate what makes them work well. Ask questions from senior colleagues if you have to. Feast your eyes with design inspirations from as many online spaces as possible. Follow good designers on social media and design repositories. The more you see good designs is the faster you design sense get's better.

There is a great book by one of the pioneers in HCI (Human Computer Interaction) Don Norman, called "The Design of everyday things" . I highly recommend each and every designer/UX/UI developer to read. In the book Don explains simple principles to follow in order to create great products and become a master of UI/UX. One small thing YOU SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER: You are not your client, test and validate you hipoteys!
