Think Billie Eilish when she just started out. The thing with condenser mics, is that without good acoustic treatment of your recording studio, there is no significant benefit to having an expensive Neumann over a $100 Rode NT1a. In fact, your order of priorities is the following: Room Treatment > Preamp quality (audio card) > Microphone quality. Rode NT1a or NT1 (slightly more expensive) is the golden standard - it's versatile enough to produce professional results and is affordable. Don't go cheaper, though.
