What are the top content production tools for creating white papers?

To gather information, I rely on research tools like Evernote, Zotero, and Mendeley. Evernote serves as my digital repository for storing web pages, articles, and research papers related to AI ethics and healthcare. Zotero helps me manage and organize my sources efficiently, allowing me to track and cite references. Mendeley enhances my research experience by providing a cloud-based platform for reference management and connecting me with like-minded researchers. Multiple AI tools are available for writing, from the free ChatGPT to paid options like Jasper, Writer or Copy.ai. Don't let AI do all the work though, you need to be the human in the loop to be sure the writing is on brand and offers the voice and tone of your client or company. Note using effective (and often iterative) prompts will provide better results. If you aren't yet comfortable with prompting, AI tools can be used to create an outlines so you can have a framework in place to get started.

As well as the AI tools mentioned, I use Notion as my writing platform. This is just a subset of what I use it for, but it allows me to manage my content, productivity, tasks and so on, all in one place across all my devices

Use your phone's recording app. As you get ideas pop up for potential topics, use your recorder and talk it out. You'll get a first view quicker than writing it out, and not interrupt your flow. Personally I have a Google Pixel 8 Pro, and use the native recorder combined with the built in AI which is great.
