Process Simulation is often termed as "Garbage in and Garbage out".... The only thing a Process Engineer need is the logic and understanding of Chemical Engineering Processes to model and predict the behavior and outcome of a chemical process. No matter if we are working on CAD softwares or any other the logic and understanding will remain the same of Chemical Processes and yes the graphical user interface of these softwares are different from each other. For Example; you're modeling a Column and you will have vapors out from the top and liquid from the bottom. To get the flow of vapors at the top requires pressure to be less then that of the middle/bottom of the column_ a simple Bernoulli's Principle ??
