You should have more unit test than other types. Just like the food pyramid.

If these written tests are automated, it will increase your competence level in the eyes of the hiring team. Otherwise, by following this documentation, you might notice and fix bottlenecks, e.g., by improving error messages or how fast the page renders. Document each layer separately because they are tested differently depending on your priorities. For example, on the front end, you try to determine how a user will behave by interacting with the interface by using the developer console and frontend framework's extensions and testing libraries. On the back side, you could prioritize security and performance tests using Postman.
