DevOps is a practice or a methodology in which the development team and operations team work together by including automation at the initial stages. So they can work on rapidly changing systems, fix bugs, and help to deliver a good quality of software in time. DevOps fills the time gap between the development team and the operations team through skills and tools that might make little expensive. Agile methodology deals with filling the gap between customers and the company.

What does Cloud and Serverless really mean? Imagine Cloud as a digital toolbox ?? where you can store files, run software, and connect with others, all on the internet. No need for physical tools, it's like having your entire workshop online! Now, Serverless is like ordering pizza ??. You don't need to own an oven or worry about making dough. You just call, and it arrives ready to eat. Similarly, Serverless lets you run code without handling servers – it's served to you, and you pay only for what you consume! Both Cloud and Serverless make tech life simpler and more efficient in the digital world. ????

One is an architectural style of how software can be built, and the other is a way to package and run that software. Microservices themselves is an architectural style and not an architecture. Any given architecture is an instance of particular style. Think a baroque buildings, each has a unique architecture but share same style. Same for Microservices. While there are common set of characteristics to any given microservices architecture - making it recognizeable as such - each such system remains unique. With its own combination of services. Containers on other hand is something entirely different and orthogonal to microservices. Although it's probably the most popular way to deliver a microservice styled system today.

When learning about new trends, it's important to also acknowledge their impacts and required investments. For microservices to meet expectations regarding increased flexibility, reliability and performance, they typically require an isolated environment that can be costly to implement, with or without containers. Not all application functionality warrants this investment, so when carrying out a separation of concerns on the application logic, it's helpful to perform an analysis that identifies functions that do justify residing in microservice implementations. While containers introduce an architectural layer that supports isolation and portability, they also introduce cost and complexity that needs to be justified as well.

Microservices are about divide and conquer - loosely coupled services - each service can be developed and deployed separately - thereby promoting separation of concerns. Unlike a monolith, one could carve out performance sensitive parts, wrap up these as microservices and run more copies of each for increased throughput... Likewise critical parts of the application which need to be highly available - many more instances could be run and exposed via a load balancer for higher fault tolerance and increased resilience. Containers are about portability - the write once, run anywhere promise... No more "it runs on my machine and not on X". Containers also bring in isolation and are lightweight - compared to full blown VMs.

More and more organizations are incorporating cloud-based AI right out of the gate because of how attractive this is made by cloud providers. Cloud marketplaces offer complete AI and ML solutions, along with all of the data storage and compute power needed to support the most powerful and demanding AI processing requirements, as well as cloud automation features that further enable rapid provisioning and automated data management. This trend is becoming so prevalent that it is heading toward Cloud AI becoming the default option for those wanting to adopt AI.

Is there really any way to unravel the mysteries of Blockchain and Cryptography? ?? YES! Think of Blockchain as a digital ledger ?? that records transactions. It's like a public library, where everyone can see the books, but once a page is written, it can't be changed. This ensures trust in online transactions. On the other hand, Cryptography is like a secret code ??. It's the art of encoding information so only the intended recipient can understand it. Imagine sending a top-secret message that only your friend can decode! Blockchain and Cryptography work hand-in-hand to secure our digital world, from cryptocurrencies to secure online voting or purchases. ????

Blockchain introduces a technology architecture that is foreign to most established distributed application architectures and also foreign to traditional data storage environments. Being able to lock down data and guarantee immutability is extremely important and valuable to some businesses, but integrating a blockchain application within an IT enterprise can be challenging. Utilizing blockchain to store corporate data is something that needs to be carefully planned, both in terms of which data is stored, and how that immutable data may need to be accessed in the future.

I think a case can be made to either encompass generative AI within the AI and ML section, or to have a separate section dedicated to generative AI, and to further associate cloud computing with its usage. Also, having a section dedicated to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and further relating it to the use of AI so as to establish the concept of Intelligent Automation would also be a timely topic for this type of article.
