Well, to keep myself updated, I spend some time searching excelent quality tech newsletters providers and articles. I mean, there is too much data out there and time is the most precious resource, I can't waste it on low quality information. Plus, with the advent of AI, data is getting old much faster. So having those at hand is kinda like having 'filtered pointers' to what I should study next. I aim for quality over quantity, and prepare to refine my knowledge afterwards, it definitely pays off.

Keeping up to date with evolving standards helps to stay in touch with the cutting edge of technology. There is constant progress being made and current technologies become old within months. My best strategy is to build up and maintain a network of other professionals that are in the field. Hearing from them and what they are up to helps me extend the breadth of my awareness.

Based on my experience, there are a lot of online courses that claims the title to be “the best way to lean X coding”, but for this you need to go on your own way. Some people learn better taking online courses, others learn just reading books and practicing, other people just do all by themselves reading docs without any interaction. So my main idea it’s just look for the best option that works for you and keep updated on new technologies that could impact on your work; join to tech forums or whatever social networking that keep you updated on technologies and then just go to learn according your habits

I would advise searching youtube channels. There is very high quality content there for coding best practices. The views and likes provide a pretty transparent evaluation, and it's easy to see how fresh or popular the content is. With otger platforms it's not as transparent

For me, this is the best option to improve your solving problem ability. Even you can try to solve problems that already did but on a new programming language that you’re learning

One of the things I do to level up my coding practices is solving coding challenges with my friends. When we are on a discord call, we choose one of the medium to hard challenges on LeetCode and try to solve it individually. After solving it, we share the solutions and we give feedback to each other. We also compare the time complexity of the solutions and try to optimize it as much as possible. I think coding with other people is the best way to improve your coding skills.

In field of GenAI there are a lot of new frameworks and tools that are open source and there are issue and new fearure that are continuously added in those repo, you can always start from there, this approach helps you get on the forefront of the genAI field and also keeps your coding practise and skills uptodate.

I would be careful with all online resources,such as stackoverflow. Some answers are good there, but some are napkin sketches. Best to stay up to date with more reviewed material,where quality is filtered- such as publications and conferences (such as pydata etc )

Most of the things you read and learn online will be forgotten after time without practice. What I do is whenever I learn a new concept, for example "Clean Architecture" I create a project from scratch and apply all the concepts. This way you will get hands-on experience with the concept and you will apply it unconsciously in your future projects.

Best to start with basics. I would suggest "Clean Code" by Bob Martin and his video course. The course is very fun too. This way you'll learn the oop from the source.
