1 Liquid cooling

Liquid cooling, on the other hand, uses fluids such as water or refrigerants to directly transfer heat from the components to a heat exchanger, where it can be reused or dissipated. Liquid cooling method uses liquids like water or dielectric fluids to directly remove heat from processors and other heating components. Types of liquid cooling: 1. Direct-to-chip: Liquid flows directly over chips for maximum heat removal. 2. Immersion: Equipment is submerged in a non-conductive liquid for complete heat transfer. 3. Indirect: Liquid cools heat exchangers that then dissipate heat to air. We can select above techniques according to the equipment characteristics to improve cooling efficiency and allow for higher power densities in data centers.

2 DC power distribution

Another way to improve data center efficiency is to use direct current (DC) power distribution instead of alternating current (AC) power distribution. AC power is the standard form of electricity that comes from the grid, but most data center equipment operates on DC power, which means that AC power has to be converted to DC power multiple times, resulting in energy losses and heat generation. DC power distribution eliminates the need for conversion and reduces the number of components and cables, which can save energy, space, and maintenance costs.

Yes DC power current are much heavier comparing to AC current conversion rate is differ between the AC and DC current but still in data center required more DC current to powered every equipment properly which results in erosion of heat energy in addition DC power is save more energy and energy cost.

Reduced energy consumption 2. Simplified infrastructure 3. Improved equipment performance DC power is becoming increasingly popular for a number of reasons. First, it is more efficient than AC power, as there is no loss of energy due to the constant change in direction of the electrons. Second, DC power is more reliable than AC power, as it is not subject to the same fluctuations in voltage and frequency. As a result of these advantages, DC power is being used in applications like, electric vehicles, renewable energy systems including data centers.
