I think (and know) that the infusion of 2D and 3D animation has made the Animation industry so interesting and dynamic to explore and create incredible feature series, movies, like Avatar: Legend of Korra, The Dragon Prince, Klaus and many more, Justice League (DC cinematic Animated Universe). This blend has made even the Gaming Industry so sweet and incredible phenomenal, from Uncharted, to Call of Duty, Amazing Spiderman and many more. In Africa, most especially my home base Nigeria, I know we are fast approaching that trend but with Animation shorts like "Ajaka in Rome", "Malaika" and "Ade-Fellas", this hybrid approach would help us to make competitive contents on the global landscape eventually. So yes, I love this hybrid style.

I was a kid when the original Space Jam movie came out. I remember being mind-blown that my favorite basketball player could be in a movie with some of my favorite cartoon characters. Years and years later, I had the opportunity to team up with a colleague for a music video where a man travels to space. The main character is a live action human actor that goes from a live action world to a stop motion world. With a music video, there’s usually not a lot of time to tell the story you want to tell. I feel the animation really enhanced the main character’s journey and also made the story more open to interpretation. Is he in space? Another dimension? Heaven? Did I mention it was a blast to make in spite of being tedious? Happy animating!

Yes.... This above style is so unique as well. Take a look at James Cameron's "Avatar", Michael Bay's "Transformers" franchise, Marvel Studios' Avengers, DC's DCEU movies and more, I personally love this concept more, because it's more realistic, action-packed and fun in all. Live-Action and Animation has revolutionized the entertainment industry in all, from movies, to musical videos, to sitcoms as well as commercial ads.

This is one technique that I know Tim Burton uses for all this Animated feature-length movies. It's edgy, visually organic and overwhelming as well. The use of CGI is a realistic balance to Stop-motion animation, which makes the process so professional in execution. Most Commercials I grew up watching were achieved through this process and made me fall in love with ads, that drive me to become an Animation-enthusiast and professional also

I agree.... And love this idea. However, I feel this should be given a center stage more in Children's entertainment.... Yeah. The reason because, it is very tactile for Children to touch the characters in real life if they see them sold in toy shops or amusement parks

Animated movies like the Korean/Japanese feature-length "L.O.R.D." (Legend of Raging Dynasties) is a good example here. I love this style, as I embraces the real Life captures of actors on set, which makes it more natural, organic, relatable and powerful in delivery.
