In addition to setting goals for your business is to set goals outside of work that you will work towards Often I find commercial real estate professionals are obsessed with the next peak/milestone That drive serves us well during work but we can find it hard to disconnect By setting goals outside of work that need attention either daily or weekly, you can channel that focus into something that allows your brain to prioritize something for yourself One thing that works well is setting time periods each day or week that you will be doing something other than work Devote 20 minutes a day to writing, reading, stretching/exercising, and your body & mind will thank you for giving it a reprieve from the go-go-go of work

Set realistic goals and track them along the way. I like to reverse engineer my goals. So I figure out what I want and then create a plan for how I can achieve exactly that. SMART goals are helpful. I like setting annual and monthly goals. You should also review your progress every quarter.
