I like to ask the individual what time of day works best for them as the timing of a training itself can be a barrier to learning. Once we have the ideal time locked down, I send over some visual materials with very clear instructions, circles, and arrows prior to our touchpoint. At the time of the training itself, I like briefly explain what I am about to show them, then share my screen when appropriate, and walk through what I just outlined and what was sent over prior. This repetition of the steps can really help visual learners retain the knowledge.

In this new remote environment, I find that a lot of visual learners struggle without a creative outlet or group brainstorming spaces. I like to use digital tools like Miro, or project management and CRM tools like Asana to help provide visual outlets for creativity and organization.
