There are many beautiful locations in our world today. The most eco-friendly locations would include; beaches and recreational parks for a spectacular event. Not only do they provide public recycling and waste management but they are also an amazing canvas to create that stellar event and have more than enough space for almost any size party!

On all the venues that will probably be conducted outside, we should work with natural elements and mirroring water bodies to project more light. The being used especially for example in mobile events should be bio-degradable or reusable. Recycling after events should be highly advised especially if it an in town event. if conducting an outside event, tis includes hikes, why not encourage tree planting in the surrounding areas where possible. We should all try marking a special event by planting trees, it would be a great drive to clean our air better

We adjust our marketing to target regional areas where the event is hosted, this helps reduce travel emissions created by attendees. For international events, we target the region who’s airport typically charges the cheapest airfare heading to their destination (ex. Miami database gets marketing messaging for Colombia)

So, another idea would be to rent a party bus which can be a great alternative and fun alternative option.

The lights are likely to be used anyway, so make them do two things at once. If the venue has a lighting tech, let them be creative and use the equipment in ways that flatter the room, work with your branding, and which don't result in banners, displays and posters ending up in the recycling.

One of the easiest ways to reduce the negative environmental impacts is to minimize decorations altogether. We choose to host our events in outdoor areas and spend minimally on decorations. Our participants don't seem to mind. I think, rather, many of them appreciate we are making good decisions for the environment, and also not spending extra cash to decorate.

Here are a few ideas: - Partner with a waste management company to set up trash collection points & have trash disposed of responsibly. - Get swag from companies that make recycled or compostable items like recycled glass tumblers or recycled, plantable notebooks. - Swap out single use water bottles for branded reusable (aluminium) bottles and have refill stations. There are companies that can assist with this. - Work with a company that can set up a mobile event app, instead of printing things like programs, surveys & attendance sheets.

Reconsider how you handle swag. Make a donation on behalf of the show attendees to a local organization doing good. You eliminate waste and promote social responsibility. If a physical item is important - get creative with food and beverage. Opt for locally sourced, organic and seasonal ingredients that are available during peak "give me a pick me up" times (a lot of people hit the 3pm wall). Breaking bread is a great way to connect while contributing to the local economy.
